For me, doing a professional and solid job is the only way to go about it. With a good knowledge of the law, an ongoing investment in permanent education, and access to codes and statutes, legal texts, specialist literature, and case law.

But apart from all that, to help you in a way you feel comfortable with is important, too. You have to be able to rely on my discretion and secrecy in anything we discuss in your case, you have to be sure that your information is absolutely safe here. You have to be able to rely on the fact that I am looking out for your interests, and that I try to achieve the solution that is best for you. That does not necessarily mean litigation. More often than not, solid negotiation or reviving the communication with the party involved, opens the way to the amicable solution you want. But if it is obvious that this does not work, I’ll gladly take the obstinate party to court on your behalf.

Listening to what exactly the problem is, and taking it from there in discussing with you what can be done about it in reality, in making an opportunity vs. risk assessment, and establishing whether I can in fact help you in resolving the matter.
